1. Medical Disclaimer

PillPlease is not medical advice. The App is a medication reminder and tracking tool only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

• Do not rely on the App as your sole means of medication management.
• Always follow your healthcare provider's instructions regarding medication timing, dosage, and interactions.
• The App does not verify the accuracy of medication information you enter.
• Missed notifications, app downtime, or device issues may prevent reminders from being delivered. Maintain backup reminder methods for critical medications.
• The built-in calculators and conversion tools are for general informational and educational purposes only. Always verify results with your prescriber or pharmacist.
• If you have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of medication information you enter.
• You must not share your account with others. Use the caregiver feature to grant access.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Caregiver Access

• By inviting a caregiver, you grant them access to view your medication profiles and dose history.
• Caregivers with “editor” or “admin” roles can confirm doses and modify medications on your behalf.
• You can revoke caregiver access at any time.
• We are not responsible for actions taken by caregivers you have authorized.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Tier

Up to 3 medications, 1 chain (up to 3 medications), 1 dependent, and 1 caregiver. No payment required.

Premium Tier

Unlimited medications, chains, dependents, and caregivers. Available as monthly ($3.99/month) or annual ($30.00/year).

Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period. Manage or cancel through your device's App Store settings.

Refunds

Handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or its infrastructure.
• Use automated means to access the App.
• Enter false medication information with the intent to deceive.

7. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by PillPlease and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your medication data remains yours.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from Settings > Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
• We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• We are not liable for any missed medications, adverse health outcomes, or damages arising from your use of the App.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
